Accessibility at Gore Place

Parking
Mansion parking: Accessible spaces are available in front of the brick mansion. Drive straight through the entrance and proceed up the driveway to the mansion.

Carriage House parking: The main parking lot is next to the carriage house. Take a left into the lot from the entrance and park in a space near the building.

Entrances Wheelchair Accessibility
Mansion entrance: There is a wheelchair lift at the mansion entrance. A staff member is available to assist you.

Carriage House entrance: The carriage house is accessible with a ramp at the front door.

Wheelchairs and Walkers Wheelchair Accessibility
Wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters are welcome at Gore Place.

The first floor of Gore Place is wheelchair accessible. There are no elevators at Gore Place, and the second floor is not accessible to wheelchairs. 

Restrooms
Mansion restrooms are on the basement level and are not accessible to wheelchair users. There are no elevators at Gore Place.

The carriage house restrooms are on the ground level and include a unisex accessible bathroom. 

Gore Place Mansion tour
The mansion is shown by guided tour only. For visual description, Sign Language interpreters, or other needs, please contact Gore Place at 781-894-2798 in advance of your visit. 

Mansion tour seating
There are visitor chairs in many rooms of the historic mansion. If you need to use one during a tour, please inform your guide.

 Service Dogs
Service dogs are welcome at Gore Place.
