Place App
The Gore Place app is an
engaging self-guided tour
of the grounds that shares
the story of the landscape
and farming in early New
England. Walk around the
45 acres of Gore Place to
take the tour in person and
imagine the land called “My
Farm at Waltham” as it once
was 200 years ago, or take
it as a virtual tour from
anywhere in the world!
The tour guides you to special
points of interest throughout
the property and features
quotes from Christopher Gore
(a politician, lawyer, investor,
and gentleman farmer), and
paintings, illustrations,
and maps from the early 19
th century.
