The Federal PeriodThis visit to Gore Place for upper elementary school students focuses on the formative years of the young United States , 1780-1820, as explored through Christopher Gore and Robert Roberts. The 1½ hour program includes tours of the mansion and carriage house, and activities with collection items and primary sources. Themes explored are politics, servants' roles, and the growing United States economy.
