Sheep

This 1-hour field trip for 1st and 2nd graders helps students learn more about sheep and how their wool is transformed into clothing.

•  A lesson about sheep as mammals and herbivores, and participation in a sheep flocking game.

•  Hands-on activities demonstrating the process of turning the sheep wool to a piece of clothing. Take home some wool!

•  A visit to the farm to observe the sheep and meet the farmer.

Picnic on the grounds before or after the program!
