Folk Art in a Fine Place:
Surprises from the Gore Place Collection
Opens December 28
Among the items displayed in this whole-house exhibit are the trade sign from Christopher Gore's family's paint shop, the weathervane from the1793 carriage house, and Frances Pinckny Gore's 1732 sampler. Placed throughout the mansion, these unique items give a glimpse into the private lives of this distinguished couple. Viewed as part of the mansion tour.

Kids Explore Folk Art at Gore Place
Saturday, February 18, 10:30am
Be part of this special tour just for kids and explore the folk art exhibit at Gore Place. With a costumed guide, search for the unique, handcrafted toys, signs, paintings and other surprising objects in the fancy 1806 mansion.

Ages 8 to 12. Admission is $8. Reservation are required by February 17 as space is limited. To reserve, email: tamar.agulian@goreplace.org

School Vacation Snowshoeing
February 21 through 24, 10am to 3pm
February 25, 12 to 3pm
Kids and accompanying adults rent snowshoes, investigate 3 new trails, and participate in six easy, fun things to do on 45 acre estate.

Participants will be entered into a drawing for a Family Membership to Gore Place .

Evening Tour of the Mansion

Enjoy an evening tour of the mansion including views of the Great Hall, Withdrawing Room, Library, Office, Parlor and second-floor Chambers and Billiard Room.
