Dear Craftsperson,

Gore Place will hold its annual Sheepshearing and Crafts Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Each year, this popular outdoor festival grows in popularity attracting more and more visitors.Lastyears festival drew 5,000 attendees. The crafts fair typically draws 60 or more crafters.

The Crafts Fair is juried; only items hand-crafted by the vendor may be sold. Please send a description of your wares with a picture and include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want pictures returned. You must sign the application attesting to the fact that the items you sell are your own hand-crafted goods. No manufactured or imported goods are allowed.

Crafters will again be located on the South Lawn between the sheepshearing and herding dog demonstrations. the non-refundable entry fee is $90 per single booth space. The space is large enough for a 10'X10' tent. We strongly encourage the use of a tent. Remember, this is an outdoor, rain-or-shine show! Electricity is NOT AVAILABLE. Please bring your own tables, chairs, etc. No percentage of sales will be taken. There will be plenty of publicity and we expect a large crowd if the weather cooperates! Each craftsperson may bring one assistant at no charge. Anyone else will pay the regular admission to the grounds.
