Waltham
native and independent scholar
Rob Velella has made it his
stated goal to “...do
nothing less than bring 19th-century
writers back from the dead.” Using first-person, in-character
interpretation, Rob portrays
the young Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Nathaniel
Hawthorne and, of course, Edgar
A. Poe.
With
its lofty ceiling, marble
floors and beautiful decor,
the Great Hall of the 1806
Gore mansion will provide the
perfect setting for these spooky
tales. What
better way to spend a winter's
eve?
